Why We Ride
At eSki, we’re not just building watercraft—we’re engineering a new era of waterbound freedom. Our mission began with rental operators, the overlooked backbone of the personal watercraft industry. They’ve long been underserved by machines that weren’t built for their realities. So, we listened. We innovated. And we designed a solution that meets their needs head-on: more uptime, lower costs, and safer rides.
But our vision doesn’t stop there. We also ride for the thrill-seekers—the weekend warriors and wave chasers who want high-performance adventure without the carbon footprint. The ones who believe that power and sustainability should live on the same throttle.
Whether you’re running a fleet or just chasing the horizon, eSki exists to make every ride smarter, safer, and radically more sustainable.

CEO Jack Duffy-Protentis
Jack Duffy-Protentis, founder and CEO of eSki, grew up in New England close to the water where he fostered a love of recreational watersports. From a young age, he has always had a fascination with engineering. Jack has combined these passions together to create eSki and develop our distinct electric-powered personal watercraft product.
Jack was diagnosed with Stargardt disease in 2006; Stargardt disease is a rare genetic condition that affects the eyes, causing a buildup of fatty material on the macula, resulting in a majority blindness in the center of the eye. Despite the immense challenges caused by Jack’s disability, he has never let it get in the way of achieving his goals. In 2021, Jack received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
